Hair Loss: Symptoms and how to prevent it

 

Hair loss can refer to excessive loss of hair, either from your body or scalp that might lead to baldness. It can occur due to medical conditions, hormonal changes, medications, or it can also be hereditary. Ayurvedic Treatment for Hair loss has created majestic therapies and remedies for effective consequences in the prevention and cure of hair loss disorders.

Types of hair loss

Depending on the cause, the type of hair loss varies from person to person. It can be either temporary or permanent, gradual or sudden and may be restricted to your scalp or your entire body. Some common types of hair loss are as follows:

  1. Thinning of hair on top of the head

This is a pattern common among both men and women. Hair often receded from the forehead in an M shape.

  1. Circular bald spots

Hair Loss Causes

Hair loss usually occurs when the hair follicle is damaged by scar tissue, or the cycle of hair growth and shedding is disrupted. Some of the common hair loss causes are

  1. Heredity

Often genes inherited by the offspring have an in-built susceptibility to hair loss. This may be baldness,   horse-shoe pattern of hair loss, patches, or even ringworm.

  1. Hormonal changes

During pregnancy, menopause or in thyroid problems, temporary or permanent hair loss is common due to changes in the levels of hormones being secreted. 

  1. Medical conditions

Alopecia areata is a condition that causes ringworm disease or hair-pulling disorders like trichotillomania. Ayurvedic remedies are essential for banishing, such as severe disorders.

  1. Radiations

Exposure to chemical radiations during chemotherapy not only causes hair loss on the scalp but full body hair loss including eyebrows.

  1. Stress

  1. Amla Shampoo/oil

Amla not only helps with curbing hair loss but is also a blood purifier and good for eyes too. It helps with indigestion, tackling dandruff and scalp infections. This is a crucial Hair loss cure for extremely sensitive hair.

  1. Neem

Regular use of neem makes for healthy skin and strengthened hair roots. It also helps with dryness, eczema, scaliness, and dandruff. Neem is also considered an ideal ingredient in foreign Hair loss treatment products.

Shikakai, when mixed with water, forms a viscous lathery solution which, when applied, treats hair fall and reduces dandruff.
